Motivation

Three reasons lead me to enhance this initiative:

·  I am passionate about the energy sector, and I believe that, together with other women,  I could get this passion across and inspire new women’s generation.

·  Throughout my professional career, I have faced discrimination based on my gender. I believe that I am not the only one who went through such situations and prejudices.  This project also looks to become a supportive community to learn how to deal with these barriers, turning them out in opportunities.

·  In recent years, I have worked with vulnerable communities, where women suffer from most of the negative impact of gender inequalities, norms and roles. I have been working to identify and understand their needs, to learn from their strength to support their families, also, I have witnessed the remarkable effect that ensuring access to energy has on these communities.

These reasons have been the trigger that I needed to start this project. This project recognizes the value and key role of women in the energy sector. Women are welcome to share their beliefs and raise their voice through this initiative.
