About the founder of Energy from Women

This is Andrea Eras Almeida, Ecuadorian, who is currently living in Madrid. PhD in Photovoltaic Solar Energy with over 10 years of professional experience in energy planning with a special focus on renewable energies, energy efficiency, rural electrification and public policies. I believe in participatory processes and the design and implementation of inclusive strategies for planning the energy sector. I have worked closely with isolated communities where women are particularly vulnerable. Therefore, I am committed to making the energy transition a fairer process through comprehensive solutions to ensure a resilient energy supply and efficient energy consumption.

My biggest inspiration: my mother, the most struggling woman I have ever met
